About Betty Ryberg

With a strong belief in civic engagement and the integrity of our legal system, Betty believes that all who avail themselves deserve a court that is safe, readily accessible and that resolves their matters fairly and efficiently.
Betty Ryberg is uniquely qualified to serve the community she loves with fairness, dedication and integrity on the bench. Her nearly 30 years of legal experience includes big firm, big case complex litigation, as well as countless pro-bono cases in Brooklyn Family Court helping children and parents.

What Chester County Needs for a Court of Common Pleas Judge
With degrees in chemical engineering and law, Betty began her career as an engineer working for major fortune 500 companies keeping their manufacturing processes running smoothly, inventing new and better products, driving corporate sustainability initiatives, developing environmental design standards, and managing discovery matters in 26 Superfund cases.
As a patent attorney and senior litigation counsel in major national law firms, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Vice President for global pharmaceutical and medical device companies, Betty has litigated large, complex patent and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement, breach of contract, and products liability cases worth billions, including as first-chair trial counsel.
Since relocating to Chester County nine years ago with her husband to raise their two sons, Betty founded her own law practice, and is very active in Scouting, serving as a Chaplain and a Merit Badge Counselor and supporting Eagle Scout projects in Chester County’s beautiful parks and preserves.
Betty is running for Court of Common Pleas Judge to give back to this wonderful community!
