Corporate Vice President for global pharmaceutical and
medical device companies, Betty has litigated large,
complex patent and trademark infringement, trade
secret misappropriation and copyright infringement,
breach of contract, and products liability cases worth
billions, including as first-chair trial counsel.

Family Values
Betty lives with her husband, Phil Grant, and their two teenage boys in Chester Springs. One son graduated, and the other currently attends Downingtown Area School District. Betty is active in Scouts as a Boy Scout Law and Horsemanship Merit Badge Counselor. She served as a pro bono attorney in the Brooklyn Family Court, helping unrepresented petitioners and respondents secure support for children and parents. Betty and her family enjoy preserving and restoring their own conserved property, raising chickens, hiking and supporting Eagle Scout projects in Chester County’s parks and preserves.

Betty holds a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University, and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Auburn University. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Executive Education’s Advanced Finance Program. Betty is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York, and the District of Columbia.
Betty began her career as an engineer working for major fortune 500 companies keeping their manufacturing processes running smoothly, inventing new and better products, driving corporate sustainability initiatives, developing environmental design standards, and managing discovery matters in 26 Superfund cases.
